# Product source review: 300-1963-00-P01, revision A.1

Status: local planning evidence only. Both complete PDF pages and the supplied PNG were visually inspected by an AI assistant. A qualified human review/approval has not been recorded. Source drawing instructions are recorded as product requirements; they do not authorize software actions, contacting others, design changes, or manufacturing.

The strongest conclusion is that the engineering drawing and actual native display cache describe a **218 x 620 x 9.525 mm part**. The schedule appears to describe an oversized blank stage, but its **0.118 thickness cannot be accepted as the stock for this monolithic part**. The two issues must be separated: XY allowance is convincingly explained; thickness is not.

The native display mesh measures approximately 218.000004 x 620.000005 x 9.525000 mm. Source positions are float32 metres, converted explicitly to millimetres. Independent Python and JS extractions agree. This corroborates the drawing envelope; it does not certify exact B-rep geometry, all feature dimensions, or freshness/active-configuration binding. Metadata states `Default`, `Imported1`, and `Material <not specified>`.

## Requirements visible on the engineering drawing

- Reference envelope 218 x 620 mm, shown in parentheses; thickness 9.525 +/- 0.13 mm; 4 x R5 outer corners. D1 assigns geometry to the 3D CAD model. Do not scale the PDF or assign unprinted coordinates from pixels.
- M1: Aluminum 5052-H32. M2: no finish/coating/color. The native material is unspecified; the schedule's 5052 text does not independently establish H32.
- 17 x diameter 8.60 through, each with diameter 16.5 counterbore depth 6.35. These are stepped depth-controlled features, not 17 through cuts of diameter 16.5.
- One diameter 6.3 +/- 0.1 through hole with an oblong recess depth 6.35. Enlarged Detail A shows 16.6 mm minor dimension and 4.1 mm horizontal spacing between arc centers; a stadium outline therefore has derived 20.7 mm overall length. 20.7 is a deduction, not a separate printed dimension. The recess is not a through slot.
- 2 x etch or engrave `V` for vent-side assembly orientation. G1 separately requires marking per SPC-ENG-03035; that referenced marking document was not supplied, so no text/process is invented.
- The RTV bead path is expressly **for reference only**. It must not become a cut, pocket, or engraving merely because it is drawn as a closed line.
- D2: deburr and break sharp edges <0.3 mm unless otherwise specified. M3: clean/free of oils, lubricant and debris. G2: protect the part during shipping/handling. M4 and D5 record material/environmental and SC/CC capability obligations, not verified by this software.
- D3 general shown-dimension tolerances: angular +/-0.5 degrees; X +/-1 mm; X.X +/-0.3 mm; X.XX +/-0.1 mm, unless otherwise specified. Do not apply them indiscriminately to basic or reference dimensions.
- GD&T is retained for qualified interpretation: D1 profile 1.0 to A/B(M)/C(M); special-hole perpendicularity 0.2 to A; 17-hole position diameter 1.0(M) to A/B(M). The enlarged datum-A frame literally shows flatness `25` with circled F and a lower `1/100X100` line. It is not silently corrected to `.25`.

The title block gives 3.374 kg as drawing metadata; no mass computation or material certificate was verified.

## Why the schedule likely concerns a blank, and why that does not resolve thickness

The schedule is dated 2026-08-18, names FO3015, schedule 0004, and part `300-1963-00-P01 Rev A.1 BL1`. It shows 12 simple blanks arranged 3 rows by 4 columns, sheet 105.75 x 34, thickness 0.118, unfold 8.8327 x 24.6595, utilization 72.68%, and planned process 00:04:32. No explicit unit label is visible. These are source-record values, not validated machine settings or independently predicted time.

If its dimensions are inches, the blank is 224.35058 x 626.3513 mm. Compared with 218 x 620 mm, the excess is 6.35058 and 6.3513 mm total, or 3.17529/3.17565 mm per edge if symmetric. Both axes therefore closely match **one-eighth inch allowance per edge**. The BL1 suffix, simple blank outlines, and allowance pattern support an oversized blank-stage interpretation. A rectangle-area check gives 72.694% versus the printed 72.68%, consistent in scale but not a proof of the exact contour or process.

Under that same inch interpretation, 0.118 inch equals 2.9972 mm. It differs from 9.525 mm by 6.5278 mm. More decisively, the specified 6.35 mm blind recess depth exceeds that stock thickness by 3.3528 mm. A single 2.9972 mm plate cannot contain the drawing's blind counterbores/slot. There is no evidence that BL1 means a bonded layer, and three 0.118-inch layers total 8.9916 mm, not 9.525 mm. No layer or alternative-stage story should be invented to dismiss this mismatch.

Practical judgment: retain the schedule as related blank-planning evidence, but do not reuse its thickness/material record to manufacture the finished part. A stale material assignment, a different job/stage, or another source-control error are possible; this evidence cannot uniquely select one. The drawing and native cache together give stronger support to the 9.525 mm finished nominal than the conflicting schedule does.

## Release-state conflict

The engineering filename contains `RELEASED`, but the page itself states revision A.1 / release-date field `draft`, carries `In Work`, and lists lifecycle `P - Prototype - Unvalidated`. The filename does not establish manufacturing release. G3 also records controlled approval of changes; no such approval is attached here. These are reasons to preserve a planning-only state, not reasons to fabricate a production sign-off.

## Planning and software-only output

The proposed operation families are: source/material reconciliation; blank preparation; datum/fixture planning; final outer profile; 17 through bores plus 17 counterbores; one special through hole and shallow oblong recess; 2 V marks and controlled part marking; deburr/clean/inspect/package. This is an unsequenced planning list, not a tool/recipe/setup selection.

A separately named `rough-outline-simulation.nc` uses the 218 x 620 R5 reference envelope and zero internal features. Its synthetic 238 x 640 mm test sheet provides 10 mm margin; 9.525 mm thickness is a drawing-derived metadata declaration, not an accepted actual stock assignment. No machining allowance is applied, so it is neither a BL1 blank program nor a complete finished-part program. Feed/chord values are declared simulator settings only. Header comments explicitly exclude holes, counterbores, slot, markings, RTV path, kerf, pierce and physical recipes. The output dialect is `virtual_laser_v1`, not FO3015 or AMADA.

Generation and independent final-text replay passed for this declared outline: 60 source blocks, 42 motions, 1 contour and no internal features. Exact final NC SHA256 is `6363415fac8aa938fb4545743c818267af768f58aaaad7b5ca551dc6307f5a75`. The 100.04-second metric is constant-feed cutting time for this one software outline, not a physical cycle time or the schedule's 12-part process time. Evidence is stored alongside the NC and source-bound input. Physical machining approval and machine transfer remain unavailable.
# Depth-analysis increment

The current workbench recomputes approximate internal features from the source model through the same general recognizer used for other files; this document is not an algorithm input.

- Recovered: 17 stepped-hole candidates, each approximately Ø8.6 through intent + Ø16.5 recess, 6.35 mm recess depth; one approximately Ø6.3 through intent with a 16.6 × 20.7 mm obround recess, 6.35 mm deep.
- The depth planner creates 36 internal operation intents: 18 through bores, 17 circular recesses and one obround recess. Generate the current virtual NC and run its independent final-text test in the workbench. A pre-existing outline-only NC file below is not this program.
- Independent inspection accounts for all 144 saved mesh tables: 85 belong to the repeated stepped holes, 7 to the special hole/recess, 8 to outer walls, 2 to broad faces and 42 to two shallow V-shaped markings. The general internal-operation planner covers 92 tables and leaves 52 outside its program.
- The two shallow V markings are approximately 0.05 mm deep, on the opposite face from the counterbores. Their geometry remains visible, but no general engraving toolpath or automatic flip/fixture plan is implemented. These are not claimed complete.
- Do not concatenate the earlier outline NC and new internal NC: their virtual process/frame assumptions differ. A qualified integrated manufacturing route, exact native solid validation, production post, fixture and machine simulation remain outstanding.

The geometric measurements are candidates from the saved tessellation, not certified nominal dimensions. Source thickness/document-status conflicts described below remain open after any software test pass.
